Screen pass, run up the middle, pass, 4th down Screen pass, run up the middle, pass, 4th down Gus, the strategy worked for a couple of years but this is no way to consistently beat top teams. Auburn would be so much better under a different coach. Bo Nix was a 5 star recruit he’s just not being developed properly. We saw how Nick Saban develops his players. Mac Jones is a major example. We need to be looking for Offensive Linemen RIGHT NOW and I’m not talking about highschool players, we need some transfers

Good win Auburn! A lot of the straight up the middle plays in this and the Ms St game showed how weakened our defense was in November. But I believe even with our defense line being so badly injured we still could have won this game. What costed us was Scarborough’s clapping and Damien’s off side call. Those two plays alone was very big and costly to us. Before anyone adds I’m not justifying bc we lost. No shade nor hate towards Auburn whatsoever.

One of the major differences in the program right now is just the depth Alabama has over us. It showed down the stretch, we had so many beat up after playing UGA and Bama back to back we had no chance against UGA the second game. However in one game like the iron bowl you just never really know. I still think it's pretty impressive we are able to compete since we usually sign about 1-2 five star players a year while Bama, UGA, and LSU clean up with about 10. A lot of Auburn "fans" rag on Gus but his coaching style is a little unconventional and I think it gives a chance against those teams.

The "experts" have Auburn beating Bama again in 2018. Really? They don't even have to wait and see what Auburn does against the other 11 teams on their schedule. Alabama only lost 2 or 3 good players. Auburn lost 5 starters on the offensive line alone, not too mention our leading rusher, leading wide receiver, 2 major D line players, and our kicker "Legatron" just too name a few. Your statement is completely false , Auburn is playing almost a whole new team, Bama returned almost everyone. Also we only have the 2nd hardest schedule in the country. Alabama will go into the Iron Bowl without being tested all season, to play a battle tested team that's already played 3 or 4 top ten teams... So yeah people think Auburn will win.
