Why don’t you realize you are addressing a Living Legend that is making history ? You people are talking to the very best coach alive in college football. Is it too hard to ask Coach questions pertaining to football, his success, his coaching methods, his countless hours he spends trying to help players with personal issues, his private time that he uses to raise money for underprivileged children ? The list of his accomplishments and endeavors goes on and on. If you want to earn Coach Saban’s respect, get on his good side, and get him to open up to being interviewed, show respect and use common sense.

Lies, for the most part of the Saban era at Bama, the Crimson Tide never leave the South for non conference games. And the Tide has adopted the scheduling model that College Football fans bashed Boise State for. They play one outside power 5 school week one (Duke), then backfill their other three non-conference games with teams they can pay to come play at Bryant-Denny. I bet some power five schools want the home-home series with Bama but the tide is reluctant to travel outside of the South.

I think everybody knows the QB/WR threat is probably the best it's ever been overall. The offensive line needs to improve in order to establish the run and protect Tua better. I realize we have Brown out suspended 2 more games, atleast 2 more out with injuries, and have some young guys out there on this O-Line. Evan Neal is a massive dude, but he seems to be having trouble with the speed coming off the ball and getting leverage. He's as green as they come though and will only improve with reps. I think we have a kicker! Will Reichard looked really good. I've been impressed with true freshman Mike LB Shane Lee's play so far. I mean, you just can't replace a freak athlete like Dylan Moses or an experienced 5th year senior like Josh McMillon. The defensive playbook in college is much larger and the schemes are much more complex compared to highschool. The Secondary looks much improved as expected after getting experience under thier belt from last year. Hopefully we can stay healthy, but we're definitely gonna need some freshman to step up big to be able to play winning football with consistency. RTR! 🏈🐘💯🅰️

He isn't just making it up, and notice Bama is scheduling some home and home with those that are willing... Wisconsin Texas West Virginia Oklahoma Notra Dame Bama is scheduling home and homes with all these teams!
@missourimanful5 жыл бұрын
@thumbsaloft - Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but to the best of my knowledge Alabama under Saban, has never scheduled a true home and home non-conference game with any strong Power 5 conference teams one time. I did some homework. Here is their Power 5 Nonconference Schedule since 2012. 2012 - Michigan at Dallas, 2013 - Virginia Tech at Atlanta, 2014- West Virginia at Atlanta, 2015 - Wisconsin at Dallas, 2016 - USC at Dallas, 2017 - Florida State at Atlanta, 2018 - Louisville at Dallas, 2019 - Duke at Atlanta. We see others play home and home like OU- OSU, Texas A&M - Clemson, AUburn- Clemson, and Texas - LSU playing home and home this year and next year, I could go on and on, but I don’t recall one time up until now, Alabama had done that. They certainly have played Power 5 non-conference games against good teams but they all neutral sites as I just pointed out. Could all other Power 5 teams turned down a home and home with Alabama in the past? Possibly. But I would hazard a guess at least a few would have attempted to do so. I agree with Saban that I wish all games would be against Power 5 teams, then you wouldn’t have to run the table to be considered for the BCS at the end of the year. But it really bothers me that they get a bid every year and never put it on the line like OU-OSU did 2 straight years, and the loser didn’t get to the BCS Bowl that year and the winner did. So like I said, I could be wrong and nobody wants a true home and home with Alabama, and settle for a one year game at a neutral site, but sir until now and I went back to 2012 there have been 0 true home and home with Alabama. But would have sure loved to see it.

I hate Alabama (pre Saban also) but Saban’s views on college football are spot on from NIL, to player development, to the transfer portal, to scheduling for power five schools. He knows exactly what college football is supposed to be and I’d have retired when he did. He knows it’s all going downhill. You can hate him if you want but his players don’t and he’s developed some great players and in many cases great men. That era is over. It’s NFL football now with younger and dumber players who are accountable to no one now.

Great teams lose to shitty teams all the time- countless examples even over recent years. His consistency of treating every opponent as a “threat” is why we just broke the FBS record of most consecutive wins over an unranked opponent ever. Every win is a great win when you’re the most dominant dynasty in college football history

@@katynickerson5272 Jerry Jeudy is actually just as fast or a tad faster than Jalen Hurts...not sure what you mean by explosive but its maybe a difference of position ...when Hurts runs hes doing so as basically an unblocked runner,and its not running a route...Jerry Juedy is running a route and limited to where he can go till he makes a catch,plus he usually has a guy on his heels trying to tackle him

I’m concerned about the running game. We haven’t effectively rushed the ball and in order to drain the clock and wear out the defense, you have to rush the ball. I agree about the schedule stuff. Nobody wants to play us. They want to play us in the playoff and beat us once so they don’t have to worry about us. They’re scared and don’t want to play us in the regular season so we’re stuck playing teams who don’t have as many talented players. That’s not our fault. We want to play great teams every week. Maybe we just need to play an NFL team and then they’ll be happy.
@dannyflemings8645 жыл бұрын
But the good thing about it is we play a cupcake schedule and it doesn't matter if we win or lose because we know if we lose to the three games a year that we will be in the playoffs anyway because ESPN runs the SEC and the local media and therefore we're not worried about anybody that we play doing the year and rankings don't mean nothing because we're automatically in every year

“We try to schedule the best teams we can schedule.” Well, no you don’t. Your non conference slate is a joke and has been for years and everyone is waking up to it now. The students are not watching or leaving early, everyone is bored and you (Saban) have the audacity to blame the fans. It’s also ridiculous to say that you (Saban) don’t have any control of what teams you get to play. That’s bullshit. You have more power than your AD, and that’s a fact. Beating up inferior teams (and it isn’t fair to call them “cupcakes” (a term I hate) or “tomato cans”) to build up your record isn’t helping. Your ass got served by Clemson last year. Probably Georgia will serve it this year. Georgia played Notre Dame, Texas AM played Clemson, even lowly Ole Miss played #23 California. LSU played Texas. Your peers are playing strong out of conference games. Southern Miss, New Mexico State, Western Carolina is horseshit and you know it.
@gilcruz78694 жыл бұрын
Lol stop hating brother, everyone plays inferior teams, just look at everyone's schedule & we've served plenty of teams, u know u can't always beat every team or win every game so let's see in 20/21 what happens when ur team plays us & don't come up with some ridiculous excuse brother

Saban is the best. As a Bronco fan,it did kill me to hear him talk about Jerry Jeudy. Some ignorant Bronco fans think the guy is a bust...not realizing apparently Jeudy,(& Sutton,Patrick)-cant throw the ball to themselves...then catch it. Not saying these guys have been perfect...all 3 had drops Sunday,& Jeudy had a lot of drops as a rookie. But they are frustrated, barely touching the ball every few weeks, especially when they are often open. Jeudys biggest problem..."checkdown Teddy Bridgewater" is his QB...who rarely throws to anybody but a running back,3 yds down the field... especially on 3rd,& 8. Drew Lock is the QB now,& hes not the long term answer,but at least he tries to actually get the ball to receivers occasionally... considering we have a very talented,young 3 some. He also has an offensive coordinator who thinks it's illegal to throw on 1st down...& head coach-who doesn't give 2 f&$#s about the offense. I have no doubt,if we get an actual compotent offensive staff,& the rumors are true,& we trade for Rodgers,or Rus in the offseason-Jeudy will suddenly morph into Jamar Chase,or close. Sutton,& Patrick will again be what they used to be. I might be wrong,& this might be too simplistic. But to me...only difference between Chase,& Jeudy...Chase has a young, future HOFer throwing him the ball,& already developed chemistry with him,from college. Jeudy,& the Bronco wrs have nothing...but anyways...

The 10 games should only be within the power5 +plus teams that are rising to become a power5. College football fans can still have the bowl game, just for entertainment.
