There is a rule for chop blocks, a chop block is when the defender is engaged with a blocker, and another blocker comes in and cuts him low, that is illegal. It was just a cut block that got buggs today.

I agree totally. Although targeting seems to be called too much, I would like to see it extended to diving head first at knees. I think of players like Marcus lattimore who had their prospects severely diminished, if not career ended, by dirty players with less talent intentionally attempting to injure another teams best player....outside of the game it would be assault and the litigant would be able to seek damages for their injuries. What if so no talent defensive back who never had a chance at the NFL was sued to pay a highly talented prospects lost wages they were unable to earn in the league due to the malicious, premeditated assault. Think that might change the game?

Game was frustrating in the first half, but that second half was great and it showed that not only has Bama dominated it's opponents in the first half early in the season, it's starting to dominate the second half of games late season. That means alot for this team, and I know Georgia is going to come ready to play, but I hope Alabama is much more ready to dominate all 4 quarters against Georgia. Alabama has started slow in the last 4 games; this may be a dangerous thing to do going forward against the caliber of opponents they are about to face. A few videos of Alabama's locker room clearly shows players not even listening to Nick Saban when he is talking to them, but on their phones, doing other things and talking among themselves. One such video is after the National Championship win earlier in the year. Tua even admitted today in his video that he did not know what Nick Saban said today in the locker room because he was not paying attention and talking to players during the time Nick was talking. This is complacency no matter how you slice it and no matter how much Coach Saban preaches about it if no one listens to him it is going to affect this team in a negative way somehow. They are getting by on talent alone, and when they face a team that is as talented as them it is going to prove disasterous. It's like they are taking the whole first half off. With the new transfer rules is Nick afraid to confront this? They are the best team in the country hands down; and can win by giving a lack luster effort for the whole first half. Will Nick find a way to get through to this team before it bites? Believe me when I tell you other teams are watching this and will be looking to capitalize on it.

last 4 games?? id say the last 2 games were the only games they played poor first halves in... and 1 was due to a chop blocking triple option, no throwing, offense... and this one was more due to getting shocked by trick plays. It often takes teams to adjust to unconventional offenses because its not easy to replicate it in practice an offense that a team has been running since training camp... only way to adjust to it is to see it in game and thats what happened with the triple option chop blocking and the trickery of auburn. they literally only scored off of trick plays and a clear offensive PI. you are definitely reading too much into this, if they were barely seeking out wins then you'd have a point. also teams like auburn and citadel come out and empty their clip in the first quarter, and you always let the opponent empty their clip if they have to do so just to keep up with you using half of yours.
