On September 28, 2021, Disney's Aladdin on Broadway played its first performance since the unprecedented shutdown of the industry due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.
The curtain call was a celebration of the return of live theatre, including the debuts of new leads Shoba Narayan as Princess Jasmine and Michael Maliakel as Aladdin!
