You really missed some background on Swayze. His wife (1975-2009 [his death]), Lisa Niemi met him when she was a 14 year old student of Patrick Swayze's mom's dance studio. They married 5 years later and moved to New York to further their dance careers. She was an actor, writer, choreographer, and director as well. They fostered their love of dance together through all their years. Look up Lisa Niemi and Patrick Swayze dancing. It is mesmerizing.
