I love your informative videos! Thank you! Could you please make a video on properties and neighbourhoods of Izmir. More and more expats considering buying properties in Izmir these days.

The biggest problem I had during a few months in the city was noise. First month in Beyoglu was horrible, couldn't sleep. Moved to the asian side second month, still was noise but maybe not as bad. Now I understand why in these videos he is highlighting places further out. That might help avoid always having to hear people yelling and shouting, and noises from the street below. I had headaches from it most days

Insightful video Aladdin, but wanted to pinpoint that secularism doesn’t mean open minded. If that’s the case would you consider people who are “conservative” to be narrow minded? Language is important✌🏼
@ataarmagan78043 жыл бұрын
it does mean narrow minded for sure
@denizalgazi3 жыл бұрын
That's what conservative means. There is no confusion. So sad that Erdogan has gone against the foundation of Turkey as a secular state.
@muhac803 жыл бұрын
agreed....On the contrary secularist people are not open mined to Islamic values whatsoever..
@denizalgazi3 жыл бұрын
@@muhac80 That is completely false. Turkey was founded as a secular country and religion has no place in forming laws or policy. Turkey is not a Muslim country. Turkey is not a theocracy.
@muhac803 жыл бұрын
@@denizalgazi agreed but that doesn't change the fact that the freedom of practicing islam (doesn't apply to the other religions though) has been taken away from Turkish citizens. That being said the current Turkish government has been striving to restore that freedom though.

No, many people even allow their children to marry non-muslims. I think cultural diversity is a good thing. It's really hard to understand the thoughts of some people.
