Alain Delon est incontestablement l'étalon or de la beauté masculine, la référence absolue.. un visage parfaitement symétrique,des traits fins, et dans ses yeux bleus un mélange d'espièglerie et de mélancolie qui le rendent fascinant et attachant... Jamais égalé, il a 88 ans et ses photos et extraits de films sont toujours dans les vidéos KZbin des beaux mannequins et acteurs actuels...(sans parler de sa carrière professionnelle avec les plus grands metteurs en scène et son sens des affaires)

One of the many interesting things about French cinema Icon Alain Delon is how natural and joyful he is in his early films . This is the "real" Alain Delon , fun loving ,charming, not taking himself ,too seriously,full of life and very sensual, and so very endearing. I have an extensive collection of Delon films and the ones I enjoy watching most are from this early period in his career ( 1958-1968). He is emmerced in the role he's playing, but he is also revealing aspects of himself that are genuine. As his career progressed, Alain Delon becomes a " characture " of himself :silent, cold and distant ,lacking in empathy for the consequences of his actions ( contract killer or some kind of criminal). Unmoved by pain or love. Almost an andriod . But,even after having viewed some of his films several times, with each new viewing ,I see some subtle movement of the eyes or body language or facial muscles that expands my appreciation of Alain Delon the artist and Alain Delon the man.

yes it makes me sad too, honestly the other week i was checking out his filmography on imbd ... and his films from the 80s/90s look especially tacky 😭. Its painful for me to even look at them and very similar too in that he's always a self-important robber or , the cop films ? 😥whatever it is ... it lacks any of the charm and likeability, originality. Its almost as if he sort of went from evocative French/Italian cinema to .... blockbusters. I think most of them he produced aswell and i don't know if co-directed. But I think that he should have just stayed acting - and with the type of directors from the 60s that brought out the best in him. He was really lucky that they understood him in such a way. Or just mysteriously stopped acting at some point ... because even now his legacy totally depends on the 60s/early 70s.And that caricature alain is - why did he become likke that?😥... i don't like the coldness - but in Purple Noon despite being a killer he was also warm in some type of way, affectionate and cute and smiled quite a bit. In general i don't like films that have murderer 💀 but i think the way it was filmed/director and beautiful scenery and atmosphere is what makes it different from his other films that have this. And he was enigmatic, effortlessly distant, intimidating not like later on -the caricature you described. I also agree, prefer him showing more human emotion, ones where he ISN'T playing a cold-blooded role, i don't like that theme - the performances between the dates you listed( the leopard, joy of living, l'eclisse, diabolically yours, black tulip ect. - are attractive to me) The women that got to be with him in the younger years are very lucky. And it seems like he values the women and memories from his youth-time much more. How come he never talks fondly about Rosalie. She gave him his youth and children when he had given his youth to several other women and was past his prime 😢. He didn't even groom as well when he was with her compared to Nathalie. NO ONE will ever be as lucky as his long-term relationship-women in his 20/30s. Romy and Nathalie had him in his best years.

Молодой был очаровательный, улыбчивый , но возможно какие то обстоятельства в жизни его так изменили,вследствие чего он стал замкнутым и хладнокровным, впрочем, как и у многих людей в жизни!!
