I like how the zebra style with the black pickguard camouflages the humbucker. Low key fake out.

I find setting up, and intonating a floyd easier than vintage bridge. My word, there are so many nuances and little tricks and it is driving me bloody insane! Felt that at first with Floyd's untill i finally figured them out. Now vintage strats...they are just going to lead to my early demise

As a beginner who loves jazz, I bought an Ibanez LGB300 recently and I love it. Problem is I think I’ve made a bit of a mistake as it’s hard to play and the strings don’t bend very well for me (yet). I did a lot more research and came across your video. Ultra Luxe on its way to the UK in sunburst grey for me now thanks so much guys brilliant instructive video and very well presented. 2 nice guitars to learn on now.

Nice Job (as usual)! Not completely sold on the Floyd Rose. Why didn’t they have the option of an ultra luxe “Huzzah” with the SS Frets and no Floyd Rose? Maybe next year?? Maybe the Ultra will transition to SS frets? Maybe??? When??? Next year??? Your thoughts? Also want to see the Tele Ultra Luxe “HAH” with the Floyd Rose and see how it compares to the very nice Pro II Deluxe “HAH” in terms of versatility. I guess the Ultra Luxe does have the possibility of splitting the Humbuckers, but haven’t been able to find that info on Fender’s website. Oh. I just saw it 😅. Anyway, want to see how it’s been implemented since it has less tone controls to push. 🤷🏻♂️ And I want to see Cooper play that thing anyway, ok? 😅

Are these the same pickups as the Ultra series? I think they are? The Ultra HSS has hot Fender noiseless. I just tried an Ultra and to my ears these sound a bit different. Maybe the stainless steel frets? Besides the frets and Floyd Rose, if they are the same pickups what other advantages does this have over the Ultra?

How much better is the feel of the stainless steel frets compared to the „regular“ Ultra Strat? Is it worth getting this over the HSS Cobra Blue Ultra Strat?
@asdasdae2 жыл бұрын
While they do feel a lot smoother, the main appeal of stainless steel frets is that they are insanely durable and will never ever wear. You will never need to get this guitar refretted or even set up with the frets once it’s done.
@underwatersunlight37952 жыл бұрын
@@asdasdae Thanks! I understand that. I‘m more interested in the feel, though. The same question also applies to the Augmented D neck-shape. I assume, that’s not a big difference to the Modern D neck-shape. But I could be wrong, of course.

Hey guys, I'm back, new account , don't ask. I just purchased the mystic black with the rosewood fingerboard, I'm not a great guitar player, I lack stick to it ness but I'm praying this guitar will hopefully change this. I get frustrated doing the same old learning methods and not progressing on. I'm determined to get better but I need some advice if you can please. I also have a Martin D28 Modern Deluxe and a Cort X700 duality along with an inexpensive Jackson bass which I really enjoy. Now for the age old question, can you give this old guy any advice on how to progress forward, how to step beyond my mediocre skills? Do I need to practice 10 hours a day until my fingers bleed? Can you give me any insight on becoming proficient a bit faster or a methodology to getting there faster? I'm no spring chicken to I'm motivated to progressing a bit faster. Help?

Peter, I've been having The Same issue. 1 thing a female player told me was. Play your guitar like a Fav Lover. Treat it like, Appreciate it like Your Fav Lover. Then in your privacy start playing a Few chords or even just 1 Major or Minor Chord with Out a Pick. Just Start strumming from Your Heart. Take it Slow, give it A little practice Even 30 Min a Day. Then when it starts to Sound Good to You. Go with that. DONT Copy Any One. Be You!

Huzzah? Started in 1500s as a word used by sailors as 'hoist' or hooray. Used also by armies in Revolutionary War and War between the States. Don't think that would be my "huzzah" guitar. Nice demo Chris and Cooper.
@charlesbranch41203 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Tex. I hope you're feeling better. "Patriot Battles' is a recurring read for me as the Revolutionary War armies, after a long march. would be rested by the generals, which often gave the outnumbered (colonials) a chance to slip away without loss to fight in better circumstances. I liked the "HaSS" term... Big difference in germination times between the seeds of ebony and avocado: Ebony had to be planted within 24 hours, while avocado seeds could survive for 400 years. (They couldn't survive without the consumption, digestion, excretion, and fertilization as the seed dropped from the end of those herbivorous dinosaurs large enough to pass the seeds. Hass was the Oregon farmer who grafted rootstocks and began the avocado industry.

Nice guitar, but the price is obnoxious. You can get guitars with many of these same features for around half the cost. I can get an ibanez prestige s series with better pickups, faster action, Floyd type bridge etc, for about a grand less. There's a reason more modern themed players skip these guitars...just doesn't make sense to pay this kind of premium because the headstock says fender, not to mention how late they are to these trends that are decades old already.

What the is the fascination with coil tapping. It is about the single most waste of resource. That switch could be used for so much more, especially with a Floyd and Bucker setting right there. Fender decides to coil tap, WHAT? That single coil bridge Floyd tone though, WHAT are they thinking? It sure looks beautiful. Its a squeally, LOL men with Floyds.
