I absolutely love my 9ft 3.25 abbreviated scopes. Lots of power but lovely playing action. Eyeing up some 10ft 3.5 specials for larger waters now.

Allen Blair needs a decent meal, he looks like he lives on Red Bull alone. Oh and the Scopes are great.

A decent meal would kill alan it would dilute the red bull in his bloodstream too much

I have 10ft 3.5tc mk2 scope rods well pleased with them, just bought some nash bp6 reels very pleased, only problem they look very small, would the bp10 reels be more suited for the rods I have got. Want a all round reel, most of the venues I fish are 110 yards max.

I treated myself to a 9ft 3lb tc scope from my local angling shop and took it on my weeks fishing holiday I casted out a 2oz lead and on the second cast it broke cleanly in between the 3rd and 4th eye has anyone else encountered this problem with the scopes snapping ?
@mariuslehmann5465 жыл бұрын
Got new Scopes this year and I cast up to 4oz without any problems or damage with my 3,25lb ones.

Hi. I've just had a new sawn off snap on me the first time I used it! Hooked into a 25lb common in the margins and it snapped on the first lunge! Managed to get the fish in though 😉

Im cm away from ordering 3 of these either 9ft or 10ft in 3lb or 3 1/4lb, and this is were it gets tricky. The main venue i fish has carp between 12 and 18lb and is a small water, my once a month venue 48hr has carp 18 to 33lb in and requires casting up to 20 wraps. I know this really requires 2 sort of rods but i want to try and get something to suit both the best i can. Any help would be great as im on the fence with this decision waiting to buy.

But like that space you saved with a flat screen tv don’t ever stand there?? No you won’t gain anything by a slightly shorter rod bag 100%

What size do the 9 & 10 feet rods break down to when in a rod bag? Can they be carried on to an international flight? I am talking Oman Air, Emirates etc not Easy Jet or Ryan Air.

Only one scope! see others have copied but who what’s a poor mans scope and the quality isn’t the same ,,, i use the 10ft 3.5 and the 4.5 tc as a spod / marker simply love them and I cast more accurately (may be I’m useless!) keep up the good work and get that pre order scope gear out to market 👍
