Colorado water issues are a complex problem that effect every Coloradan. I'm not educated enough on the subject to start pointing fingers. I will comment on Alan's translation of Buena Vista! I believe it translates to english as Good View, not Beautiful View. Beautiful = Hermosa.

They worry about water? They have more water than ninety percent of Coloradan’s. It’s the stupid new McMansion builders that need “unlimited” use. I feel for ranchers. I would love to be part of a farm community, we need more. That rancher is right, you don’t do it because you want to be rich, unfortunately you NEED TO BE RICH to own land that only makes enough to survive. Water conservation is necessary, but more importantly water education and systematic dissemination of its waste products. White, grey, and black all have used.
