You can think whatever you want about Rourke. Love him or hate him. But one thing is clear: MICKEY IS A LEGEND! Which actor can say that? There are many good actors in Hollywood who are/were more successful than him and earn a lot more money, but are still miles away from legendary status.

It should only be an R rated film. Can't say I'm surprised that they had so many problems with it. A incestuous, interracial sex scene with an underage girl with blood flying around is going to ruffle some feathers, lol

She was in Bill Cosby's show, but nevertheless. I think it's rather accumulation, but don't think breaking apart any of said elements played part in X rating. Although the sex scene is a bit gratitous and goes on and on with explicit movement. Plus I don't think them bathing in blood while copulating helped at all.

Mickey Rourke is my fav actor. I feel this was his best performance. Wish he took some of the roles he turned down like Pulp Fiction in particular. He should be respected as one of the greatest. Instead he’s been in trash movies again since The Wrestler unfortunately.

I always thought Mickey was a great actor and is very misunderstood I have see a lot of his movies 🍿 but it’s not the ones like 9 1/2 weeks and some of these so called sex movies this was a good movie but he and Robert De Niro did not get along at all there were a lot of problems with people getting along with Mickey I thought the movie Francesco about Saint Francis he played very well it was a Christian movie maybe that’s why It didn’t get that much credit everybody’s used to seeing him in a different way but I thought it was really good and it didn’t get that good rating it’s a shame because he has the ability to act in a lot of different ways and he was very convincing in that movie and I don’t know how many people have seen it or not like I said I find the acting ability very good and real he always gave his all and it’s a shame that he did not always get the Credit for his 🎥 movies but I still watch them and still find them to be good 👍 everyone has their own opinion
