It took exactly 4 weeks to make it from concept to broadcastcopy.

Alan Parsons was a ground breaking sound engineer. He was the man who engineered (and probably mixed) Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon. So it is fair to assume that Alan Parsons indeed has learned from some, but thousands have learned form Alan Parsons. :) Ben

Yep, Just 2 days before all work was completed, news reached Alan Parsons that he was "featured" in Austin Powers' movie. So it was a last minute decision to ask permission to incorporate the vocals into the radio version and the video.

Absolutely love Alan Parsons Project. I have all 13 albums they cut as well as 4 released just under Alan Parsons. One of my all time favorite artists. I could never understand why they/he didn't make a bigger splash. Certainly one of the most under appreciated artists ever! Way, way before thier time. Wow, a really fantastic put together video to accompany the music, and the Dr. Evil voice overs was brilliant.

Time Machine is my favorite album of Alan Parsons. Mainly because I was 8 months old when he either composed or released this album.

As stated in the info, the whole clip was made in Softimage 3D extreme. The wormhole was made with multiple extrusions (with different diameters) along a path, after which each seperate extrusion was textured differently. :) Ben

For my our oldest daughter & our closet mix master of a son! Parsons is from my era handed to them for the future of music & as we back in the day would have said " It has a good beat & you can dance to it (joy, laaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!)!". Enjoyed a taste of both @ the wedding!!!

To briefly recap, the entire clip was made from first meeting to finished clip in 4 weeks time by 1 person (myself) using Softimage 3D extreme, modelled and rendered on SGI machines. 2 2-processor Octane's and a 4 processor origin200. This was all in 1999 :) Ben

H.G. Wells wrote both novels : The time machine and War of the worlds. One of the best sci-fi authors along with Jules Verne, and Alan Parsons is definitely a fan of classic litterature.
