Because I don't live in Britain, I'll likely wait till the full run of This Time has been broadcast. I've seen the first ep and enjoyed it. As a character, Alan is a marvel. It's nearly 30 years since On the Hour and Alan has succeeded across radio, TV, film, the internet, in print and audiobook.

From the 2007 show to his last in 2014 he continued to present 8 more editions of Children In Need but took no fee.
