The horn in the video is a Conn 88H with a King counter weight. The recorded performance was played on a King Duo Gravis bass trombone with a 1 1/2 G mouthpiece.

@trombonemassa No particular reason... I just happened to have it. The king (bass) tombone does have a king counter weight (not a conn).

@PizzaandmangaruleXD It would be the bell section. You might be able to keep the slide and match it to an F attachment bell.

@TehGoal I've done it on a King DuoGravis with a 1 1/2 G mouthpiece. In fact the video is with the 1 1/2 G.

do u have sheet music for this and i go to jackson olin and i cant seem to play for a long time what do i do and i have a deniis wick heavy top mouthpiece is that a goo d mouth piece

My 2 or 3 videos on low notes (pedal and trigger) pretty well cover the basics. I'd have to see and hear you in order to make suggestions.

@Theluap21 I'm in 8th grade also. What do you consider to be high F? The one that is 2 1/2 ledger lines above the staff or the one that is 6 ledger lines above the staff? High A is 7 ledger lines above the staff.

You need to double tounge or triple tounge. There are many videos out there that teach you to do so

Mr. Raph, just out of curiosity, why did you put the king counter weight on your conn trombone and the conn counter weight on your king trombone?

@ShinyHunterBWord I got about 2 other kids to switch to trombone i'm not loosing my tittle in first chair; but, really thats good to know, hopefully it will be like this in High School. Good luck to You, my friend!

May I ask a question? Is the f-attachment on a tenor trombone attached where the tuning slide is or do you have to buy a new trombone?

Henry Trettenbach It depends on the instrument. Some, such as the Bach 36 has the f attachment screwed onto the bell so it can removed or added. Most of the time, however, you have to buy a new instrument.

I think his horn is a Bach with a king counterweight :). Kings are nice though, I play a lot of a jazz on a King 3b myself ^_^

Bach is only good if it is pre-Elkhart. Unfortunately, Conn-Selmer doesn't make Conn 88Hs anymore. Now they are just made by the Bach division and stamped Conn.
