serioously his "uhm" is the sexiest ever . it's crazy how many people love and admire this man. i think it's because he knows his craft, the art of acting, so well that it makes people respect him. also his voice is the best thing ever. i wish i could meet him sometime..

His answers were so meaningful. He didn't dumb down anything nor give brief replies just because they were audience questions. Great attitude and inspirational person.

I love how he tried to look all serious but you could tell he was amused by it then he says in that deep voice, "Well..." lol

Longest ending clap ever XD Knowing someone as amazing as Alan Rickman grew up not far from where I live, well makes me proud to be british :D he really is amazing and i agree with the girl how he takes something so small (as in if he has little screen time like harry potter) and still manages to nake everyone fall for him and even get so much attention to that we have Snarry fics where detail of how he looks os described so perfectly because of his amazing ability :)

I've just seen Sweeney Todd for the first (and last) time. Hated it. It's gruesome. Loved the actors, the imagery, (hated the music) though. I felt like jumping through the screen to save Judge Turpin. Poor man. He was an angel in comparison with those 2 cranks. (of course, my only reason to watch it was Alan Rickman)

lucky, i think your question was the best

One of the great aspects of actors like Alan is their perfect diction. In so many of todays American films its hard to understand what they are saying.

I struggled to understand the Harry Potter movies when Alan, Maggie or some of the other adult actors were not around. The youngsters were just mumbling the words. Especially Harry Potter (well, Daniel). And he's on screen all the bloody time. Gosh, he was annoying!

Thoroughly enjoyed his answers to audience questions! So respectful with his responses!

What a charming man he was. Quintissentially British. I love the way he thinks about his answer before delivering it, and the warmth of that ovation speaks volumes.

I sometimes feel sooo awkward with the questionnaires
@chocobuttons111 жыл бұрын
I agree most of the questions were quite uninspiring but a few got some nice reactions from him lol. I guess our brains turn to mush when we can ask only one question to someone we really admire.

Lacey that's so awesome you got to ask him that question, I've actually been wanting to ask him that same thing!! honestly, if I was there I'd probably faint if Alan looked at me I love him hahaha

Conservation of energy but full giving; total self possession, and as beautifully gracious as serene autumn trees. This guy calms like home cooking on a hungry day.

I wish he had been chosen to narrate the Harry Potter audio books (in the UK at least) instead of Stephen Fry (though I must admit Stephen Fry is very good at reading them)

The second question was so embarrasing gosh
@naly2025 жыл бұрын
And the third. Absolutely revolting. I even wrote a very rude comment in that, but deleted it when I realized not all questions were that stupid.

Can you tell me what exactly is second question about? And what is actor's answer? i have understood a bit but not everything because my english is poor and i realy would like to know why everyone is laughing (sorry for any grammar mistakes)

+Lady Shadow: She was asking about his role in Les Liasons Dangereuses, where he played the Vicomte de Valmont (a very seductive man) in a very erotic way. She said he "led with his groin" in that role - groin meaning the sexual area. That is why people laughed. The actor said that an actor has to use his whole body to act, and for that character the groin was a very important, and anyway it was 25 years ago and for the actor the groin was a more important part of the equipment in those days too!

You wanna hear a stupid question? Went to an event where Ellen Mclain (voice actor of one of my favourite video games: Portal) was doing an interview, and some kid asked her if she'd read the internet comic 'Homestuck'. HOMESTUCK? Seriously? He then proceeded, to TELL HER WHAT IT WAS ABOUT.
@Slytherinsrule31612 жыл бұрын
unfortunately Alan Rickman wasn't chosen to read the books Stephen Fry reads them, I'm sure you could find them on eBay or amazon a lot cheaper than in the shops
@Ninaantenor12 жыл бұрын
Really? God! I stay imagining myself hearing his voice telling all the story. Good Lord!!!!! Can I find them to buy? Thank you very much to tell me about.
