I'm sorry, but I could never be an entertainer. They have to give up so much for their talent/Job, such as their personal life and freedom. Most entertainers can't walk down the street without someone yelling at them for an autograph or a picture. Well, Alan's in heaven now, and can relax from all that.

I'd pay good money for a transcript of those few seconds. The last bit Rickman says sounds like "...you ought to play it." so maybe talking about some up coming role/production? I'm sure it was something cheeky, Alan was rather a socialist. My favorite part though is the beginning where Rima goes in ahead of him, and he has to stand there with this look of wishing that he could just go in with her.

I've done my best, and almost gone deaf in the process, but here you go: Starting at 2:53 (turn your volume up for best listening) - The Prince's assistant introduces Alan and tells the Prince that Alan played Colonel Brandon. Prince: "Was that a good part?" Alan: "It was your part, but you weren't available!" laughing with the Prince about how he should've been given Alan's role (Alan always was very humble, even if this is a joke!) Prince: "Oh, Ha-Ha!" (making jokes) Prince: "Have you got something else on the way?" (work-related) Alan: "Well, I've just finished playing Rasputin." (this was shortly before the TV movie aired) Prince: "Is that a film?" Alan nods. Prince: "Is it worth seeing?" Alan: "I'll tell you next Friday!" Prince: "I know you will!" Then they laugh and the Prince moves to the next person.
