He's so right in the first answer. Harry Potter is the reason I ever enjoyed reading as a child. It's the reason I got into novels, literature, and theatre, and I'm now an aspiring actor, which I wouldn't be if I'd never picked up Harry Potter, which I wouldn't have done if the spooky professor in the long black robe hadn't made the 11-year-old me so intrigued whilst watching the first movie. The Harry Potter series has truly changed my life. Thank you Alan - you'll never be forgotten for your talents and kindnesses, but you're still sorely missed almost 5 years after your passing. Also - that interviewer is absolutely _clueless!_ I'm surprised she even knows what Harry Potter is!

You just need to watch some stuff and read his projects on wikipedia...so whats the problem... and than Harry Potter here Harry Potter there...poor Alan. But thats self-irony to have an action figure of the character you act at home...great - he has just humour!
