Then again when you look at other teams like Brazil and France it does make sense to some extent football was ridiculous so many top players used to gather in national teams. Nowadays its mostly a few decent players and 1 or 2 world class players in most national teams.

@@lifegoals9528 he'll get close but I doubt he'll catch him. As time goes on he'll likely start missing games through injury and being rested. Besides, unless Spurs become a mid-table side (assuming he stays there) it's hard to see him being a regular starter right up until the end of his career.
