Damn. Alan died exactly 3 months after this interview. This interview was on September 13, 2017 and Alan died on December 13 2017. RIP. Alan's real name was Alan Willis Jeffrey. P.S. The character of Willis on Different Strokes was named after Alan's middle name. Alan wrote the theme song for Different Strokes.

Lol its like a shot for shot take of that song just modernised. By the way nice hair. All natural?
@adrinahull81018 жыл бұрын
Marvin Gaye songs were his. They stole the song and should have had to pay. Steal music from Elvis and see who comes for you. Marvin Gaye family should Have been paid. Should have showed respect for his family and asked.
@markgrayson67598 жыл бұрын
no one stole anything. blurred lines sounds nothing like "got to give it up" it was a internet lie that got blown up because the song was on everywhere. if you look a scale of music there only 12 notes that can fit in a scale, all tho blurred lines has some similar elements to "got to give it up" but that goes for the majority of music of that era from the 60's to the early 80's.

Adrina Hull I agree! That was ripped off from Marvin Gaye! Although I really liked Alan Thicke. He was an outstanding man!

BubbaTheBulldog I've been a fan of Growing pains since the 80's and have always remembered Alan's negative comments, " Kirk Cameron and his backwards religion are not what I thought he'd turn into" if you KZbin his interviews you'll find all sorts of boastful atheism.
@protochris7 жыл бұрын
Alan wasn't an atheist, but he did ridicule fundamentalist Christianity. He had personal beliefs which were not Christian, such as gay marriage.
