Hello Shrestha The BLOW BRUSH is a hair dryer combined with a blowdrying brush. You can use it on towel dabbed wet hair. It’s meant to work that way.

The pin brush has a Tourmaline+Ceramic coating on its barrel and the gold brush has a Gold ceramic + Tourmaline coating on the barrel.

Hi Karuna This is pretty tricky. Usually a good blow style lasts for a day under standard conditions. It all depends on the following 4 factors - type of hair, hair health, pre & post conditioning, the humidity in the weather and the technique used. Hence don’t take our word for it. We do not recommend that you buy the product because it is going to give long lasting results, but buy it for the quality of the results and the least amount of damage a good quality product causes.

Hello Shilpa Thanks for asking. That’s what the Blow Brush actually is. It is a blowdryer combined with a brush. It can be used on towel dabbled or 70% dry hair for a perfect salon-like blow-styled effect.

Hello Sanya This is absolutely normal. Do not worry at all. The three settings on the blow brush are a combination of heat and fan speed settings. Choose one that suits you the best. We recommend starting with the lowest setting on damp hair and finish with nice tight waves with the high setting. If you have any other query, please feel free to ask. Dear Jayesh Thanks for your message. The Blow Brush can dry hair of any length, it is a blow dryer in the form of a hair brush. However Blow Styling needs length in the hair. Hence if you are looking for a quick blowdrying solution in the form of a brush you should buy it.

Hi, Thanks for writing in. The names of our settings have been changed. Warm setting being the lowest. Hot being the medium setting and blast being the highest heat setting.

Hi Namrata The Gold Ceramic Blow Brush has a gold-ceramic coating. All the other brushes have a Tourmaline-Ceramic coating. Hence the former is slightly expensive as compared to the latter.

@@saara508 All the brushes have the same technical specs and features. There is a difference in the barrel coatings. Gold and silver ceramic have slightly better frizz free properties. All black coatings are high heat conducting for faster blowdries.

Hey you can buy authentic Alan Truman products on Nykaa, Myntra, Tata Cliq and Amazon India. Longevity of the blow-dries depends on the technique used, temperature set and the weather conditions (humidity causes frizz and fly aways). Ideally a good blow dry should stay for a good one day. Results will differ from person to person and hair types.

@@avnianand2592 Hi Avni All styling done using styling tools is temporary and semi-permanent. It is not permanent. We do not recommend any chemical treatments that play with the texture of your hair. As far as going for a couple of days is concerned, the key here is the prep and routine products you use, your shampoo, conditioner, serum, and heat protect spray... If they are all in sync and suit you hair, any styling that you do will be accepted well by your hair and will last you for a couple of days.

@@nancyrose3044 All Alan Truman products sold on nykaa.com and Amazon.in(Amazon India) are compatible with India power supply. You do not need any voltage converter for the same. It is a hair dryer combined with a blow drying brush and hence it is called a blow brush. It is not a hair straightener. Although you can wave, style and get relaxed straight hair with the same. It is safe to use a light and good quality hair serum if you work at high temperatures.

The longevity of any style is not ONLY dependant on the tool you use. It is dependant on your hair hair, the pre-conditioning before styling, the technique used and the weather. So healthy hair, pre-conditioned properly will stay styled longer than hair in bad condition. Also high humidity causes a lot of problems like frizz and can reduce the longevity of the styles you create.

@@pranav1352 If you have fine hair and sensitive scalp you should not use any heat styling tools daily. If you have normal hair you can use the right amount of heat as and when required. Keep checking your hair health to foresee any possible issues.

The only reason it works because her hair is already frizz free and soft. It did NOTHING for my frizzy long hair after conditioning and applying serum and heat protectant. Buy a straighter instead of this.

@@taytayqueen7024 Sorry if we didn’t state it clearly. You don’t need to apply a serum as well as a heat protectant. It will weigh down your hair and not allow heat to work properly. If you have good shampooed hair which have been conditioned you need a heat protectant OR a FEW DROPs of light leave-in oil like the L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil that also acts as a heat protectant.
