I think Alan Tudyk has to be in the top three for actors that people have definitely seen, but don't really know. Absolutely insane pull for the show. Mr. Nobody is still the best live action DC villain, King Candy is incredible, his Joker is great, just an all round insanely talented man.

Alan is definitely one frickin amazing human! I went to a convention a few months back and was so nervous to meet him. I chose a pic from A Knights Tale (my absolute fave movie!) & was asked what I would want him to sign on it. "To Destructivelioness For Lichtenstein !" then his name. When it was my turn, I guess barely anyone chose anything from the movie and when he saw what I wanted he took a pause. I told him that its my comfort movie and was happy to finally meet him. Alan wrote exactly what I wanted with pure happiness and asked me if he can take a picture of it to send it to one of the writers of it! Of course I said yes and the smile on his face made my year.

The on-screen chemistry between the actors and the quality of the writing just made Firefly something special. As far as I know it didn't rate well because it wasn't marketed, was shown out of order, and put in a death slot to die. All because Whedon fought for the cast he had not the one the execs wanted. Gone but not forgotten, it was a leaf on the wind.
