I think a better comparison for the connected worlds thing is if Treyarch's COD Games had a blatant, but at the same time roundabout connection to their Spider-Man games. They made them, but don't have the rights to them.

I just love it how Remedy drops Finnish idiotism and sayings in Ahti's speech, but don't really open up what they mean. "The brave will eat the peasoup" is pretty much same as saying that You won't be rewarded if you avoid taking the risk, etc. Basicly "you won't know unless you try". Our native language is so weird, I cringed so much during Control - the sayings may sound smart enough in Finnish, but as soon as you translate them literally to english... Ugh, lmfao
