I wouldn't say failures😅, they've consistently put out amazing, genre breaking games!! Max maybe, Alan Wake, Quantum break, Control. All with story expanding, very good dlc. Yes they don't make some things happen, but that's ok, I'm super glad they finally got the recognition they deserve, well maybe more.

I stanned Baldur's Gate 3 so hard during the show, but absolutely lost my shit every time Alan Wake 2 won an award. Remedy killed it with that game, they're such a unique studio and deserve all the awards thrown their way. I'm so happy Alan Wake 2 and Baldur's Gate 3 were the big winners of the show.

@@yaxl Basically, just finished it a few days ago and AW2 is 11/10 in all the cool artistic areas, but underwhelming in terms of combat, but it's so incredibly good in these other important areas to the atmosphere and story, that to me despite it's flaws it's still a 9/10. And I don't give 9/10s often. I mean like top 2-5% of games.

Remedy is one of those developers that deserve all the praise in the world. Their games are something else. You can feel the love and passion they have for video games in all their projects. They all have great story and action. Max Payne 1 was the first game I played on PC, and since then their logo makes me happy every time I see it.

No other game since The Last Of Us or God Of War has made me put hours and hours of just losing myself in the world, the lore, the narrative, the art direction and the amazing acting. I recommend playing max Payne one and two those are classic games made by remedy but unfortunately they sold max Payne to rockstar since they barely had money to make big games and pay to keep the lights on.

Hands down, one of the best gaming experiences ever. Cohh Carnage wasn't lying when he said that. What really surprised me, was the small, tiny hints all over the game world that put me on a detective mode. I ended up spending over 2x average time to finish the game, because I wanted to play it slow. Weird because I have ADHD and this game calmed my brain down so well. Also, the audiovisual experience was on another level, at least on a PC. I don't usually take screenshots when playing games, but this time I have 100+ images of my favorite scenes. The best looking video game I have ever played. The game had so many unique scenes and characters I'll remember forever... On top of all that, the soundtrack, which was made just for this game, had my favorite songs in 2023. What a year for gamers, because there were multiple 10/10 games. You could pick any of the top game and give them the award.
