Fun Fact: In an interview, one of Alan's team mates said that when they first saw how Fade was made, they found it rather weird. It was made in an unusual way, basically how you shouldn't do it... Yet it sounds so good that millions of people still love it to this day. I hope Alan will always keep making music like this. ☺

There is no right or wrong way to make music. All producers do things differently and different producers have different opinions. If you're getting a great sound then it doesn't matter how you got there

@@WolfArtizan Generally, the label engineer people said his mixing/production techniques were WAY off from the standard when he made this song, which is why they rebuilt it from the ground up for Faded. Which, to be fair, this version of the song is objectively weird mix-wise, and he didn't entirely know what he was doing in a technical sense. The chords and melody (K-391 influenced) carry it very hard. Basically, this song was the result of absolutely inspired musical elements crossed with sheer dumb luck lol (if you don't believe me, listen to some of the songs he released right before Fade. This track was absolutely a perfect storm.)
