This would've shook Monstercat a few years ago, but now, it's just like "oh, now he finally debuts."

I really enjoyed this one tbh, kind of feels like a cross between F.O.O.L & KSHMR with just a liiiittle bit of that classic AW flair

It works REALLY well as a rocket league track. Like, imagine you are at a stadium and this track is playing. It really fits the game. As an alan walker fan, it's a great refresher. He really seems to be trying to get back to his original iconic ncs style, which I would say was his peak era. Looking forward to see what happens next.

It's nice that AW is on MC. Haven't had something like this on MC for awhile, with the vocal samples reminding me of Isolation from hayve & Protostar. I like the outro bit where everything rolls together in a good mix to end.

It's much better than anything he's put out in ages. That's a really low bar, like even that Vikkstar & Masked Wolf song was better than his comeback to NCS with Dreamer, but credit where credit is due I guess. I'm vibing with this one. I really wish he would've done something to vary up the drops, though. Maybe a different ending, one that doesn't keep the melody that suggests another repetition that isn't there?

Though I'm not a big fan of Alan Walker, I gotta say, this is really good, the lead is a bit harsh but I still fw it. One of my favorites from him. His following Neon Nights EP with this song actually was really good apart from Lifeline being boring. I wish he made more stuff like this tbh

Sonically, I commend Walker for trying something different, a depature from his usual style. However, the song still has the same fatiguing structuring that I've grown to dislike strongly, and it's evident that there isn't much improvement in that aspect. Also, I really don't jive with the vocal samples. Kinda reminds me of those tacky witch house or phonk songs intended to farm as many plays on streaming services.

Hot take: This is disappointing coming from Alan Walker. I'm not a big fan of the lead used in the drop. Like someone else in the comments said, it sounds too harsh. I wish there was a different lead. The one from his other song called "Dreamer" would've been better. I don't think the song is downright horrible since I do like the atmosphere of it, but man, it could've been so much better. I prefer his NCS songs.

I'm not a fan of this. I like the lead a little bit, but everything else is just so meh in comparison that I don't get any enjoyment from this. I wasn't expecting much though given that I haven't cared about Alan Walker's music in years. Honestly feels like the Vikkstar track where the only interesting element is the label exchange and the relationship with the artist.
