The biblical prophet Elijah has returned, as prophesied, and testifies: I have a good friend who passed away at the young age of 49 due to alcoholism, who looked inordinately like Alan Watts; the same eyes. (I bought his house and began my education in earnest in that house.) He was an extremely simple man, a child of the 1960's and '70's, as am I. My gift is wisdom, which, as Socrates illustrated, is the ability to understand one's lack of knowledge. "Unless ye become as little children" who know that they DON'T know, one cannot learn. I have never been fully confident in ANYTHING - until receiving an amazing education that gave me a complete understanding of the "GOOD NEWS" of GOD given through Jesus Christ, which men have totally corrupted. AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALAN'S STORY OF THE FARM HAND, for that is me! - although I'm probably not so good at the work. But am just as good at the indecision! ...concerning absolutely everything....except the message that I've been given to share, which is going to transform this entire world in the most positive of ways. GUARANTEED. Seek and ye shall find...

The dangers of religion and spirituality is its immense ability to disrupt the psychological process of the human mind. It inflates the ego and gives birth to the cult personality that has a sort of messiah complex, meaning they think they’re the chosen one. They speak as if they have the only truth and believe they are the only hope. What you have displayed in this comment is an inability to cope with reality; the constant change of mankind. You are showing clear signs of psychosis produced by so-called“spiritual” experiences and Delusions of grandeur which are clear symptoms of schizophrenia. Nothing that you’ve said is analogous to the zen philosophy of Alan Watts. In fact he states the contrary. He emphasizes how the human ego is constantly trying to fix the world and as a consequence is making things worse which is exactly what you’re doing. He concluded that it is best to do nothing and to simply flow with nature as the end is irrevocably inevitable. To think that you, one man can change the world or has a message that can change the world is a bit obtuse and arrogant, seeing that many men have come before us with great wisdom and have not been able to change it. Only the world can change the world, not one man nor one message. History proves this. It is ultimately up to “us”, the people to change our course. No one is coming to change it for us, not even you. We are all in this together. Nonetheless, I do give you my condolences. It is hard to lose someone who is close to you and I hope you get through it. If it gets too difficult, then my suggestion to you would be to seek help by engaging in psychotherapy so that you can release your trauma which is necessary for your healing and mental wellbeing; For you cannot heal others if you yourself are not healed. Peace be with you.

We are everything and nothing at the same time. Energy is not created or destroyed it's only transformed. Do you know who you really are? Why don't you know what you want? But do you really know who you are? Fire doesn't burn itself and light doesn't eliminate itself.

Alan Watts is great. But after listening to him for over 20 years, I realize he was wrong about a few things. For example. If you believe you are in a constant state of dying and falling apart. Than that will be your experience. If you believe you are in a state of constant rejuvenation and always getting younger, than that will be your experience. I have decided 20 years ago, that I dont belive in getting old and I am always getting younger. So now at 58, I look 35. According to a 15 YO kid, whom I have asked recently.

I have a good friend who passed away at the young age of 49 due to alcoholism, who looked inordinately like Alan Watts; the same eyes.
