Combien il est touchant… même si je ne comprends pas bien l’anglais, je perçois beaucoup d’émotion lorsque Alan se replonge dans ses souvenirs de jeunesse dont ceux qu’il a avec Depeche Mode. Il y a tant d’années déjà qu’il nous manque notamment dans les lives, le voir jouer au synthé ou à la batterie, le voir faire les chœurs ou carrément chanter en duo avec Dave pour le fabuleux morceau qu’il a composé « If You Want » c’était un tel bonheur, on ne peut rester insensible devant un homme en osmose avec la musique. Je pourrais l’écouter des heures même sans bien comprendre ses paroles, sa voix est d’une douceur infinie à l’image de celle qui fait illuminer ses yeux. Je suis certaine qu’il doit avoir conscience de tout l’amour que les fans lui offre et cela doit lui faire le plus grand bien qu’il soit reconnu comme un musicien, un arrangeur musical de génie mais aussi pour l’être humain adorable qu’il est…

The DM bible took a ridiculous amount of work. We worked on it for...2 years? And his Oh Dear, is him stopping on MY page. I wrote Faithful and Devoted and the page he stopped on. I was hoping he wouldn’t. He “Oh dear-Ed” my carefully written BDSM tribute to In Your Room. Fitting. I can’t believe he kept it. I remember when we gave it to him. Oh that was a lifetime ago. The book of Martin started off with my other piece. Nice of her to not credit the other person who slaved over it. She always was a fucking psychopath.
