No, 6’2” is definitely not average, esp. in France, lol!!! I’m 6’1” and I rarely see anyone my height or taller, which is great for me at concerts!!! Not so much for the people behind me, lol... FYI, since vacation rentals cater towards families, the top floor rooms (refurbished attics) are a cost-effective way of providing extra rooms in a small house.
