Hey Alana! my name is Lydia Purcell, I am 12 years old, and I have been a HUGE fan of yours since I was about 7. You have inspired me to go vegan and to chase my pro surfing dreams all the way from Vancouver BC. I have a plan to move to Hawaii when I'm older, and to some day be able to meet you!

You've done a great job researching your health issue and making adjustments. Another resource you might consider is visiting with a TCM practitioner (Traditional Chinese Medicine). After my first born I had chronic pain that went undiagnosed via western medicine. It was recommended to me that I take prescription, which I rarely do- so that was a no go. Instead I went the TCM route and after the very first visit was prescribed plant based tea that addressed imbalances and dramatically improved the way I felt. best to you

Sounds like you’re getting excellent health info and glad it’s helping. One thing you didn’t mention is heavy metals. They have contaminated everything and cause tons of health issues. My daughter and I both went hypothyroid at the same time and eventually realized it was because of EMFs (smart meter was put on home and we had WiFi going 24/7). Heavy metals make these things even worse. Make sure you turn off WiFi at night at the very least. There is a company that does heavy metal cleanse called Albini Health, I believe. It’s an MLM but worth trying because the only other protocol that’s safe and effective is Andy Cutler and it’s a pain. Gotta go watch the rest of your new videos … lol

I had hypothyroidism last year. If you have HYPOthyroidism, you need to make sure your salt is ionized. That's key as is eating 3 complete proteins a day, which can include eggs so it's great you are eating those. Rice and beans together together can become a protein but it is not efficient protein because several chemical processes have to occur to make the 2 foods come together to make up all 11 necessary amino acids that form a protein. This is why a vegan diet isn't ideal. We need complete protein for the amino acids that our body needs. Amino acids are literally the building blocks of life. If you want to heal fast, you have to cut out coffee, sugar and alcohol as well as rest rest rest. I bounced back by doing all these things every day like my life depended on it because my hair was falling out and I was extremely fatigued and I bounced back in 3 months not completely but 75% of the way enough to where I had energy and my hair stopping falling out and I was no longer cold all the time. These are things your thyroid regulates.

I was a pro triathlete went vegan . Sickest for the longest time. Weak sick fatigue gut issues. As soon as I went to high fat high meat diet my health improved significantly. On meat diet you don't need supplements. sadly vegan diet is a cult and a myth. A good research book to read is the vegan myth. If you baby has sore tummy it's from plant proteins. Eat meat and your life will change. A good research based channel is a cardiologist the diet doctor. My back pain went away on high protein. Vegan diet is the biggest lie sold. She’s had 2 pregnancies back to back I think she really needs iron from the best source n that’s red meat. I know Jack mentioned he started eating eggs again while they were in Fiji. idk if that was just while they were there, but I’m hoping Alana stops with the cleansing protocols definitely not good. Bone broth red meat fish eggs would do her good n she would heal quick.

I live in Australia and most of my female friends are low in iron and NOT vegan or veggie. If you’re dealing with low stomach acid, you could have a hard time getting the iron from your foods to be absorbed properly, vegan or not. Being vegetarian can be tricky with iron absorption as well if you have a high dairy intake as it can interfere again with iron absorption. It seems like Alana is taking the best approach, meeting with experts, getting tests and treating the core issues that can be causing the additional ones.
@Lambsear56511 ай бұрын
@@ellyfouhy ppl can be non vegan/ vegetarian doesn’t meant they’re getting proper nutrition. I know for a FACT nothing beats red meat for iron idc what pills or powders u take it’s not the same n not fully absorbed. I ate a lot of steak/ red meat in all 3 of my pregnancies n Nvr had an issue with low iron in fact the total opposite. N yes, she did mention she started with a protocol from that doctor n it made things even worse. I just hope for the best for Alana n her health journey.. her boys need mom 100%. I know my little boy is a handful n I would not be able to function if I was going through that.
