FYI: The reason they were there was to get all 6 fingers Jujutsu Tech had in their possession and they also grabbed a few other items while they raided the stash as well. This is all part of their plan to try to curry favor with Sukuna.

He levitates by controlling infinity. He surrounds himself with it and then can move it in any way he wants. Since his cursed technique is basically ‘Pull’ and his reverse technique is basically ‘push’.

They said earlier in the story that the school was holding onto another six fingers. And that Gojo tried to get them to give to Yuji but a lot of the higher ups were afraid that giving Yuji all those fingers would allow Sukuna to take control.

Gojo was born with his power. Like Fushiguro’s Ten Shadows Technique, he was born with the Gojo Clan’s innate technique which is called Limitless. He was also born with something called “Six Eyes” which only one sorcerer alive can have which allows him to better control Limitless. Hollow Purple is essentially a Black Hole created from merging Limitless’ Red and Blue techniques which respectively Push things away and Pull things in. so when combined it turned Purple and it is constantly both pushing and pulling everything it touches which is physically impossible so they just get deleted from existence on contact.

Fun fact: when gojo was born the power scale in the jujutsu world shifted Gojo full power equal 28 fingers of sukuna which means his so much stronger than full power sukuna who killed thousands sorcerer in the golden age of jujutsu P.S. in the upcoming jujutsu kaisen movie we will meet okkotesu yuuta who gojo said he’s one of the two students who has the potential to be on par with him , he is an amazing character and also he’s the protagonist jujutsu kaisen volume 0 and the movie The other student is hakari he is a third year student megumi talked about that he respect him in 4th episode I think, he is second student who has the potential to be on par with gojo .
