The first time we see him is episode 3 if I remember correctly, we don't see any of the other characters (except Lucy) in episode 1

@@void-creature This is correct, the first time Falco is ever on screen is watching Pilar do his 'tricks' at the end of Episode 3, and then in Episode 4 he is with David and Pilar in Lizzie's for the 'boys night out' montage. He's also the guy who punches out Maine in Episode 6 after Maine attacked Kiwi. He's just not formally introduced to US until this episode, and his name is first mentioned in Episode 6 during Maine's call with Faraday. That said, he has been a part of Maine's crew longer then even Lucy. But, as the driver, we just don't always see him present. Same with how Lucy and Kiwi aren't always 'on site' cause they're Netrunners.

What Lucy talked about, the Data Krash by Rache Bartmoss, actually has a very interesting backstory. It happened in the 4th Corporate War, Militech hired him to go against Arasaka, and it's presumed that Arasaka killed him, but he has a backup plan that if he gets killed, his army of daemons will wreak havoc in the net and at first the rogue AIs were only targetting Arasaka, but slowly but surely, they all started targetting everyone in the net. Netwatch put up the blackwall to protect the world's net from the rogue AIs but the old net as people knew it was gone, and now the internet in their world is basically like local packets, much smaller than the old net that connected everyone in the world.

The old net is still around however, running on abandoned self sufficient server farms in ghost towns, but it no longer belongs to the humans

This isn't QUITE accurate. Bartmoss' physical body was already dead prior to his being Hired by Militech for an entire year. Militech only hired him to help attack Arasaka and steal data on Soulkiller, and it was actually Alt Cunningham who convinced him to do it. DataKrash came afterward, and was purely his own design and was meant as payback against ALL the corps, including Militech. That said, this shit is really interesting to think about, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least a rumor/idea that this could have all been a Militech v Arasaka conspiracy spiraled out of control. I could absolutely see this version being something that is believed within the setting by at least some of the folks out there. After all, who's to say Bartmoss wasn't really just a Technomancer from Alpha Centauri all along?

I'm copy pasting from the cyberpunk wiki because it's the easiest source to access and copy paste from, but this it's also what's accurate from the lore book. We still have no confirmation that Bartmoss was able to escape to the NET prior to his physical body's death. Though we can assume so, there's no confirmation of that. Which leads to a lot of speculation about the video game's sequel. "In 2021, Militech contacted Bartmoss for his help against Arasaka in the Fourth Corporate War. Being convinced by Alt Cunningham's digital ghost, he attacked Arasaka from the Net and located the master program of Soulkiller. Bartmoss died in 2022 after getting his signal tracked, which resulted in a Corporate raid on his conapt building. Right before his death, Bartmoss contacted Spider Murphy and urgently invited her to a chat room, where he confessed his love to her before releasing the R.A.B.I.D.S. to the net and causing the DataKrash."

If you remember form episode 6 Lucy actually found the data that they were looking for and killed Tanaka to keep it a secret and protect David. Now she is on a private crusade to kill anyone trying to get that data.

When you go beyond the blackwall while doing a deep dive in the game, oooof it's one of the wackiest moments. Real spooky stuff. It's technology, but it feels like some supernatural stuff going on.

The duration of the time skip is ambiguous. Some people say the entire show takes place over 1 year in 2076, but Pawel Sasko from CDPR says the show starts in 2075 and ends in 2076. It could be over a year since the last episode.
