So clear to watch thanks. You can do this with 2 1/2" squares to get tiny 1" squares to join and cut out for an applique or using scraps .

My biggest problem with sewing 4 little squares together was getting the center right. But I saw this earlier on your channel I think. Once I did it, it turned out perfect. Even if they were a little off, well that's what squaring up is for lol.

Because spending hours carefully selecting fabrics, measuring, cutting, and meticulously sewing them together to create a cozy and beautiful quilt is clearly the pinnacle of time-wasting activities. Who needs warmth and a sense of accomplishment when you can just stare at a blank wall, right?

Housewife and Homemaker are similar, but very different at the same time. A housewife attempts to keep order and a schedule for everything. A Homemaker makes time for everyone and creates order out of chaos. I always had time to sew clothes for all my children and the scraps became little rag quilts. Sewing was never a waste of time. It saved a bit of money, and it definitely was good for the soul, mine and my family's. Sewing is art and functionality stitched together.
