Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is such an underrated album. I love the edge she put in those song.

I'd say it's much more overlooked and underappreciated. Everyone talks about Jagged, but I think Supposed was her true peak. Not to say everything else is worse, not at all. Flavors of Entanglement and Such Pretty Forks are incredible albums, as are the rest. But Supposed is that special album that took what worked on JLP and expanded upon it ten-fold. Thank U is her best song, period.

Of sorts ... she talked about it being about the music industry's projections and expectations they had after she haf achieved success. Great track it went thru some different iterations before becoming official on her second album which is amazing.

@@jpratm1993 I can see that, like all these man thinking that they can profit from her and tell her how to do things and she somehow wanting their approval but at the same time trying to do things in her own terms. Plus if music industry was a school backyard alanis would not be the kid that behaves as spected. Also music industry profits from artists felling and memories and things that triggers them becomes pop product.
