Hi sir, what if I got some question that not tell the amount of 2003. Fir example: the question ask me to calculate the percentage change in general price level between 2003 and 2006 but its only given CPI of 2006? So how should I calculate that one?

Thank you sir for the video, but I have a question. Why are we not using the base year (100) as the divisor instead of 232?

2013 is the base year, so 232 is the base.

because you are calculating a % change between two numbers so you use the formula of (old-new)/old * 100%

increase in CPI doesn't necessarily mean a decrease in my income considering the fact that CPI is dependant also on products that I may not use, which might've risen drastically
