I saw her in concert in Nashville, TN June 23, 2024. Let me tell you, she had me and by bestie absolutely transfixed. Although we’re knocking on 40, we both felt our inner 12 year old selves just as equally, living out a moment we’d only dared dream of for 27 years! Alanis’s performance was a pure joy, a natural high that had us clinging to each other at some times, and crying at others. Alanis, you and the messages your music brings, are a balm to this world. Thank you for a night we will bask in the glow of for the rest of our lives. ❤

I’ll never forget!! Like so many have commented before, I love that she does not edit herself on the stage in terms of moving with the music in her own authentic way. It seems to help her connect so profoundly with the lyrics and music that it yields penetrating, masterful performances like this one. This song somehow manages to be simultaneously unsettling and soothing to me at the same time. It speaks to the talent of her writing and her voice that she can deliver music that defies a simple emotional description.

I can always feel the exact wavelength she was on when she created these songs so long ago. That power, that energy, just never ever EVER dissipates 💚💖💚

She is one of my my all time favorite, most talented artists. What I love most about her is that she didnt sell out to the sickness in the music business or Hollywood. Thank you for ALWAYS being genuine Ms. MORISSETTE❤

If I had to pick one Alanis Morissette song as my favorite (I love many of her songs)...it might be "Uninvited". Such a stirring, dramatic song by a richly talented artist.

1st time I have seen this! The way she is on stage walking around is just like Ozzy and the way she sings is like Joe Cocker. What a Mix!

Not comparable. If another person sang some of Alanis' songs, it would just sound like a pretty good folk-rock-song. Sung by Alanis, her songs are awesome, absolute madness, like from another planet. She gives the words with her virtuosity, with her soul, her intensity, emotion and her femininity such a relevance to life; that's just about the limit. I'm glad to see her in a few weeks in Hamburg.

@AnnaLVajda4 жыл бұрын
@@leathelesbo865 she was really into the India inspired sounds for a while. She travelled there. It has a mystical feeling to it like Kashmir does. Feel how heavy the instruments are.
