It's my Big Chief Gerald "Jake" Milon. One of the most power voices and Big Chiefs from the 60's to the 80's. My father Raymond Hunter was his Wildman, RIP pops.....

Thanks for posting this video. It sounds like the men are singing "Hey Pock-a-way". "Hey Pock-a-way" and "To Way Bac A Way" (or similar sounding titles/lyrics) are probably the same song. I've collecting information & videos about this song. And I added this video to that online collection, with credits and thanks to the performers and uploader. Google Cocojams Mardi Gras Indian Songs & Chants. Thanks again!

@jumperontheline i've read that the 2-way part comes from the french tuer, which means to kill - the phrase means something like: get the hell out of our way or we'll kill you like in the Wild Magnolias' tune "Injuns comin' - get the hell out de way" they also recorded this as 2 way pak e way on their second album

@jumperontheline I don't think they still make albums - Bo Dollis, Big Chief of the Wild Magnolias is very old by now They recorded a couple of albums since the 60's always with an all star cast of New Orleans funk players - their debut was called "they call us wild" Other Mardi Gras Indian tribes that have recorded albums are the Wild Tchoupitoulas and the Golden Eagles featuring Big Chief Monk Boudreaux just google those names and you'll find a lot of great music...
