THRILL WATER PARK DAREDEVIL'S TOWER Water Slides POV Perfect Day Coco Cay

There are 7 different waterslides to conquer on Daredevil’s tower! Daredevils tower is located inside thrill water park within the new Coco Cay. Admission is paid for a Thrill waterpark full day pass or half day pass. You can buy tickets to the waterpark prior to your cruise through Royal Caribbean’s cruise planner or at the shore excursion desk on the ship or day of based on availability. Perfect Day Coco Cay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas, has the most incredible waterslides! The tallest, Daredevil’s Peak, towering at 135- foot is the tallest waterslide in North America. The other slides are Dueling Demons, Green Mamba, Screeching Serpent, and Manta Racers! The minimum height requirement for all Daredevil’s tower water slides is 48’. Hold on for a ride that is an amazing thrill!

Thank you! 121 steps to Daredevils Peak. They aren't steep because of the way they wrap along going up. Also, there is a bit of wall the red slates, covering up the sides so you don't realize how high you are climbing.

We are going to have our first cruise this May, my five year old son really into water slide, but unfortunately he is not 48inches yet, so majority of the slides are not for him , so I think it is not worth for us to buy the water park tickets. So sad! Same thing for the past Christmas in universe studio Orlando, he is really into Harry Potter, but both two new rides he can not do due to the height limit.

Most of the climb is not bad, the daredevil peek is a bit of steps, but since it can have a line a times you have opportunities to relax a bit.

If were to go again, I might consider the half day pass as I would want to do some other excursions and lay out more. For me being it was my first time the full day pass was worth it as I rode them multiple times.

Mark, I did use a gopro 7, with a wrist mount and a flotation handle depending on what activity. The ship has changed their rules not allowing gopros on the watersides. Unclear if the rules will change for the Thrill Water park too. The jury's still out on that one. Thanks for watching!

The absolute worst thing you can do is to go down that slide dry. That's what really hurts! When your suite is wet shouldn't hurt of scratch your back as much. How many times did you ride it?

Rachel C - they do have some kiddos ride outside the thrill park. If they are into water slides its well worth it! Most of the water slides they need to be at least 48 inches! keep that in mind!

It is definitely scary but so much fun! The dueling demons were scarier than Daredevil's peak because of the drop floor. But it is over before you know it!

I know this is an old video, but how long were the lines for the slides? I just want to know if it is worth the money to do this.

The lines in the morning and later afternoon closer to all aboard time were low.(I could ride multiple times and was practically the only one on the tower) Mid afternoon you could except some lines. The longest the line got for the highest slide was about 40 mins, but others moved faster. If you enjoy water slides do it. Regardless of worrying about the lines, it is so much fun and is such a unique waterpark experience. I miss it so much!!

How were the lines to get onto the water slides? Was the water park very crowded?

The water park was not crowded. The longest we waited was 40 minutes and it was for a slide that isn't shown in this video (a different part of the water park). The rest of the slides had basically no wait. The biggest slide, Daredevil's peak, I rode three times waited maybe 20 mins once, the other two times not as long. At the end of the day, I could walk on any slide with no line. Also, keep in mind there was only one ship in port.

It really depends on how many ships are in port that day and how many park passes have been sold. I would estimate on average no longer than 20 mins for the longest at the peak of the day.

In my opinion, yes, I had a total blast and really enjoyed it! If you aren't that active and don't think you would at least try to do most of them if not all of them then maybe it's not for you. There is a lot of stairs you have to climb for them too.

Around mid day the lines really peaked. But late in the afternoon the water park was dead. I could walk right on to any slide no wait.

How were the crowds/lines for the slides?

It didn't feel crowded at all. The longest we waited was 40 minutes and it was for a slide that isn't shown in this video (different part of the water park). The rest of the slides had basically no wait. The biggest slide, Daredevil's peak, I rode three times waited maybe 20 mins once, the other two times not as long. (Although I did hear that mid-day this slide had an hour wait at one point) At the end of the day, I could walk on any slide with no line. Also keep in mind there was only one ship in port.
