My first bmx in 1992 was a Raleigh burner! Chrome one with white skyway wheels. Loved it had til I was 15, all my mates at school had modern Haro, GT, Huffy bikes and I had the burner. Kept up with them all in the woods and skate parks etc wicked bike! Great video, inspired me to get to building my Falcon Pro in the garage! What’s the music to this video? Awesome sound track!

I remember the Mag Burner from the early 1980`s Yellow Skyway Tuff wheels and how the wheels used to turn up on other BMX`s ,Araya`s/UKA`Is for Tuff`s or Oval shaped buckled for hub implosion Skyway`s.Who remembers the fable of sticking Skyways in a fridge to make them true again?And what happened to the void warranty sticker about not using correct brake blocks not found on modern day Tuff wheels.

Always wanted one of these with the white Skyways on, love them. I'm so tempted to get you guys to build me one, I have a budget of about £800 to do it.

How much?

£750 ridiculous price for a re-re, also check this bike on their website, the paint job looks poor. Look on the top of the front forks is dull, looks like the paint didn't set properly (orange peel) or there's no coats of clear. It may be just their pictures but for 750 this paint job should be perfect. Hopefully they will chime in and correct me. I'm sure someone may pay that but personally not myself. 2019 and it's still on the website for sale.
@superbrit38455 жыл бұрын
@@theklfonline What do you reckon it's realistically worth then fella?After watching it again I noticed the orange peel / pitting on the forks, the finish looks poor especially when asking a premium price for it.

You state that you always setup your bikes the British way with the rear brake on the left, but i’ve just watched this same person put together a haro master bash guard bike with the brakes the opposite way around? I don’t trust liars.
@alansbmx5 жыл бұрын
That bashguard was for Tom who built it and he rides it the other way around. It is a personal option, however to meet British standards for a customer we setup front as right and rear as left. You can special request us for the otherway if you wish ;)

Good thing you didn't say restoration. No Mag wheels, Reflectors, pad set, Not original headset and bling colours on everything. I'll pass. Looks pretty good though so good work.
