Can we appreciate how badass Alarak's introduction is? -Teleports onto ship unexpected. -Gets attacked -Barely tries to fight, disarms his attacker, explains his goal. -Trashtalks in response to fool's questions - "Am I to believe that the moment we release you, your blade won't be in my back?" -Easily escapes stasis, showing he could always stab her if he wanted to -Provides a deal -Refuses to elaborate

Well, his in-game stats without "supplicants" of soul isn't that impressive. I had expected him to be Artanis' equal or more.

In my first play, I thought epicenter of massive void energy was Alarak himself.

Alarak and Vorazun were some of the best new Protoss introduced in the game. Yes it sucks the pre-established SC2 newcomers were shafted, but Alarak is a snarky bastard, and Vorazun is a good continuation and legacy of Razagal. Plus points for her Hydralisk skull shoulderpad.

Same. They were my favorite additions to this expansion. Memorable characters who both had a strong personality and their own beliefs. And I always liked the red and green aesthetic.

The best thing about Alarak is that how he's the most "Unprotoss" of all Protoss characters. He's sassy, self-absorbed and sarcastic. Nothing like the more stoic, dignified, serious and courteous altruistic Khalai, or Nerazim.

Consorting with the Purifiers according to the old Conclave is heresy, but do not forget, the Conclave of old is gone, therefore it is not heresy, after all, Colorian is one of the most well respected Executors I know, well, since the fall of Auir that is and my…defeat…holding off the Zerg Forces. My mentor at the time was Tassadar, when I reawakened as a Sentinel and caught up with the past events I was saddened that he fell, but, grateful that the Overmind was also defeated. My name may be unusual to other Protoss, but that’s what makes me…unique among the other Sentinels and Legionnaires. GLORY TO THE DELAAM!!

Ah yes, how could I forget the mission where the overwhelming swarm of kerrigan barely sent a few zerglings to 'aid' you, while complaining the whole mission (at least from what I can remember in normal solo campaing).. God I hate kerrigan in sc2
