Alaris Tactical Kodiak Chest Holster. Alternative to Kenai?

In this video I review my new kydex chest hoster from Alaris tactical. They call it the kodiak model and it is made with very high quality components and is a direct comparison to the Kenai chest holster which costs almost double what this holster does. This is definitely an affordable chest holster that does not sacrifice quality for the money that you spend!

I have them for two of my pistols. One for a Glock 21 and one for a Blackhawk. Dan is a great guy to work with and customized both of them to do what I was looking for them to do. I highly recommend Them. A Best Buy for sure. You will not be disappointed

Simply add a piece of vacuum tubing to the tension adjustment screw and noise will go away. Why that isn't done from factory is beyond Me. Less than 2 cents and problem solved.

I've never handled the kenai but I've been wearing this one and it's awesome. I really can't ask for more out of a holster.

It's holding up very well. It's not a daily carry for me but it's very high quality and is going to last me forever.

No comparison. Too big of a footprint. Straps do not have the nice elastic band, and look very flimsy.. Does not fit tight to the chest because of the size of the back plate.

Super loud and rattles a lot. I’d never want that for hunting or tactical situations.

It doesn't make rattling noise while wearing it, but if I was using it for a hunting firearm that I planned to have holstered, this may be a bit noisy for the draw. Any kydex holster will make noise when you draw.

too much rattle $0.80 hard plastic, straps back Y not as nicely designed as Kenai. 👎👎 and apparently out of business, get rich flash in the pan. anyone can buy the plastic gun holder and throw crap straps on it and bilk the public with a lower than market price. sorry if you were taken. might as well delete this whole vid with comments. 👎👎👎👎🇺🇲
