Күн бұрын

On his first real deep water solo trip to Mallorca, Jakob got his hands on some of the hardest lines on the island. Watch him getting the second ascent of one of Chris Sharma's test pieces - Alasha. With the crux consisting of a 8a boulder problem 15 meter above the water, a completely different mindset was needed on this one.

You need a few pairs. You don't need many, in the sun and wind they dry relatively quickly.
@daventure
@daventure Жыл бұрын
It's not that complicated. First the shoes dry pretty quick and even slightly wet shoes can be used since the rubber dries fast. Chalk you bring a couple of chalk bags and only fill them up with the amount you need for a climb. There are also plastic chalk bags you can use. They dry pretty fast in the Sun A cheaper alternative for us not pros would be liquid chalk that you put on before the climb

First of all: congratulations for that great achievement and this excellent video. I also wear glasses, so I've avoided deep water soloing so far, but I'd love to do it. So my question is: do your glasses have so few dioptres that you can climb without them, or is it possible to do that with contact lenses?

I have a question: When they are having so many tries and they are falling every time in the water and the calk bag gets wet. Afterwards it is wet and cannot be used anymore. I wondering how they do this? Do they have a lot of chalk bags and they let them dry over night?
