Coating the lens with rainex will help the water run off better. Looked like you had a great time. To be able to spend time rafting down an exciting river, with your Mom, is priceless. Making Alaska more inviting & exciting with every video you make. Thanks.

hello, just curious if you were able to get an RV and make your way back to Alaska? Thank you.

What a fantastic time you all had! Thanks for sharing. The best is that your Mom was up for the adventure. You come by it honestly, Jason. As you saw, MY mother's idea of "roughing it" is wearing a tiara to bed instead of a crown. LOL

Again first class. Please keep it up. You two have the most youthful enthusiasm, clean, bright and talented. If you did a series for the travel channel or something like it, it would be a hit

I've done the American River in California (class 4 rapids) where I'm a native of.....but once again, the Alaska scene appears to be taking things across the board to an entirely new level. Keep being you...Thx again.

thing is the water is so cold 3 minutes and you are dead...they have to wear full dry suits..its class 4-5 the third canyon has some of the worst..to me the river was at perfect level..it can be more dangerous depending on water levels.. the rapids arent what is dangerous..the water temprature is..its running around 34-36 degrees..

When I went on a class 4/5, we lost our guide and 3 other people during one wicked spot. That was scary! I'm not a good swimmer so I'm glad that the rafting gods spared me.

Thank you for nice videos. Did you take this video with sony action cam as200v? It seems great camera. I'm wondering if I shoud buy as200v or 4K(fdr-x1000v) What do you think about this?
@gonewiththewynns9 жыл бұрын
+大塚亮真 We used a GoPro Hero 3+, I didn't have a mount for my Sony Action Cam. With the built in stabilizer and Zeiss lens of the Action Cam we'd have gotten better footage for sure.
@ryomaotsuka67609 жыл бұрын
+Gone with the Wynns Thanks for replying soon. I read your HP and found you use as200v.I found you use it in your some footages with action monopod. So I thought you used it in this video too.

On second thought maybe you should stick to this venue, if you hook up with a producer or a cable gig you may have to change to there whims. That could be bad, I personally think you two are great on your own. I travel the country, not as much as I used to ( getting older ) and photograph what I see. Have done this for many years been in photo clubs won some awards but you my good man are way beyond what is being done on TV today. Just look at the camping shows, if they used just 15 min. of one of you vids it would perk the interest of many more. Just keep to your style don't let anyone change it. And your cats are freakin awesome. Can't wait until your next post. Thank you

Jason, I am an avid kayaker and run a gopro and a Nikon Coolpix S32 camera. To help eliminate water spots I treat the lens with Rain-X. It doesn't totally eliminate spots but it helps a lot. Check out youtube kayaking buzzards bay area to see my vids
@FromThePrairies9 жыл бұрын
The water level is low, thus the low rapids. Head out in high water, and you'll have a totally different experience - one that you'd likely not want to repeat.
