I started out like Eric on filleting by breaking the rib bones and trimming them off, later on I finally grabbed a traditional Alaskan Ulu and taught myself to filet with that, you don't even need to break the rib bones at all, when you do it right the meat just peels off the rib bones and all the fatty belly meat is left, I always do a cold smoke and air dry afterwards all my belly meat, the oil stays better that way

I like your channel. It is refreshing some of the things that you show. In this world today things get covered up, glossed over, and hidden from view. As some one who identifies as a country boy most people do not know what happens between catching the fish AND putting it in the frying pan. Shouting "grab the stick" and showing what the fish look like when you bring them home is refreshing. In other videos open carrying in the back country is also a refreshing to see. Thank you.

I’m so excited to see that you guys got to got to hit the Copper for fish and that you did so well! Congrats on the King! What an experience 😊 We fished the Copper for so many years and it was always nice having enough fish to feed our family for the year. Excellent video footage as always ❤️

I love seeing Alaska thru your eyes. And so happy every time you catch your limits! Its great to actually have these repeat trips w you so we can actually get to know more about the local and the fishing, hunting, or whatever foraging you do. Thanks as always.

What a great intro. The scenery you capture is stunning. BTW I have a few favorite parts in this . Of coarse the scenery. Another, It took me a while to stop chuckling when Arielle was climbing up the path with 40 lbs of fish in a back pack . I like that Eric was making available and using a form of fall protection, and the wear life vest. Cutting and cleaning the fish was also a favorite too. It was very considerate of you all for showing this video with fishing. I know you have a lot of work to do with winter season on your mind. Thank you.😀

Another amazing fishing trip. When I first started watching it I thought oh no, they are going where the last time I was afraid you were going to fall in! This area looked a little safer than the last one. Loved how you figured how to carry the fish back up the cliff. Such a good idea.

Beautiful scenery Alone. My word we inhabit a wonderful world. Those mountains? we were absolutely blown away when we travelled by vehicle through the Canadian Rockies, huge mountain ranges, each one seemed bigger than the last one. Great video to wake up too and have the first morning coffee with. Thankyou for all your work putting these videos together. Love them all. Looking forward to seeing what you have been up to back at the cabin.

From the opening drone scenes .. to the flowers .. all the hard work.. then the payoff cooking and eating the 'mixture of creatures' on your porch .. well, this was one of your best. I've been watching from the beginning and I'm still amazed at your versatility and talent. Well done!
