Hello you guys. I live in Albany, Oregon. Probably doesn't mean a lot to most. When i was growing up we had a famous lumberjack competition in our town. It was called the linn county timber festival. We had lumber jacks from all over the world. Your state fair reminded me of it. They phased it out when i was in my 30's. I always thought it was sad You and your boys really seemed to have a good time. Our family always did

Nice boys you have there.I remember those days at the fair with my mom.They were fun times .We would go through the barns looking at the horses and cows ,pigs ,rabbits ,goats etc.Then the rides of course and the games.I didnt see the cotton candy .That was a highlight as well.

I haven't been to a Fair for decades. Thank you so much for sharing. Back in the day The Perry County Fair Was So Much Fun In Ohio. But I think the Pork Chop on a stick was $3.00😥 LOL!! But that was in the 70s. Yes I am old. Thanks for sharing. I would dream about having parents like you and Mark.

Nice fair. They are becoming a rare thing in the midwest. When I was a kid, u could ride for 20.00 foe 6 hrs with ur friends that you met there and our parents went to the free concerts with big name people. Police porter Wagner, shot gun red, alit of new bands like Blackhawk. Then when I became an adult, they tried a few rock band and that didn't go over as well. In iowa so it's a lit of farm country and these.are just county fairs. The iowa state fair is a HUGE gathering 100's of 1000's of ppl around the world attend and many big name bands come in and tickets are pricy. I personally have never attended Long story. Sorry! Thanks for sharing. They boys looked like they had a ton of fun on with you. They joy on ur face watching your boys have fun, nothing better than mamma joy. Again thank you for sharing. Love you all

I wish our local fair had rentals, my mom and I went to the fair they always have over labor day and it was a lot of walking for her, plus is was very hot. If they had rentals it would have been easier on her.

Here in Australia, there's 1 supermarket that sells the garden oddities vegetables . Sold in packages called the odd bunch.. usually cheaper as well..

We are having our County Fair this week. I helped take in exhibits on Saturday and Sunday. Then on Monday I helped fix the names that were covered before the judging. Then display the exhibits so everyone could see who did them.
