I just loved your valley video. I was born in Palmer 69 years ago and I miss it terribly. Its funny that a 63 degree temperature in Alaska feels really about 10 degrees warmer than anyplace else. I visited your beautiful state for 15 days just last week and felt so connected to the area because of your wonderful channel! I kept saying my KZbinr. Lauren said this and my KZbinr. Lauren told me about that! 😂. I felt like an expert! Enjoyed every minute of Alaska and felt very prepared as to what to wear because of the things you have shared with us. What a fun day. I live in Florida and we are an agricultural family. We are also into hunting and fishing. Our grandsons prefer things like farms and natural adventures. They went to Disney once and really weren't impressed. They love to be in places where they can run and play and see interesting things. I find that so much better for them.

My husband took the grandsons to a blueberry u pick. He totally underestimated how many blueberries three boys could pick. $125 later he realized . We did have plenty to make jelly, pie filling and other stuff. Plus they had a great time.

From someone who worked a bison roundup for the USFS: yes, they can jump six feet high. They are very agile. They are also INCREDIBLY strong. It took six men to hold them into a squeeze chute for shots and tests. They also know how to use their very sharp horns very effectively! All the people in the pen with them had to wear gore-proof vests for their own safety. They are not to be messed with!

I am going to try and winter my bees over in my garage. Made a bee aviary (basically a screened box) then styrofoam to make the aviary a cooler. Large pipe comes in from the outside to keep them cool. See how it works. Maybe next year you will try and do bees again. Loved the video showing all the fun things to do. Might make it to Pryah farms but the farmers market makes it so much easier but not near the fun! Thank you for sharing with us.
