PB is a big help around the house. I don’t think you could have built the wood rack without him. I love watching the birds❤

What a great cleaning job on the stove! So happy to see that, after all an ounce of prevention. Please take care not to slip Lynn we don’t want a repeat of last year on the steps. Thanks again for sharing

I hear ya! We plan on doing it monthly. Our local fire department is volunteer, and it would take them a bit to get here. I'm glad you guys got them done too. :-)

Hey guys, good evening quite interesting about the plate. Sure will make cleaning it easier. I like your pipe cleaner but mine I do from the outside of the top down and everything goes into the stove, but I guess since you have a Cadillac converter in there it wouldn’t work very well interesting, that was a beautiful vid of the mountains and the sunrise or sunset. Have a great week.

Thank you so much, Thompson. He put the telescopic pipe in so us old folks would not have to get on the roof in the winter lol. It can be done either way though. We hope you have a great week as well! :-)

Yes keeping that stove running safe important 👍, I think most people just leave the plate in & just shovel the ash into a bucket much easier :) I like your pipe cleaner looks like it works awesome, My stove a little different & I go form the top down & the sot goes straight into the firebox my stove don't have a plate in the top like your, Take care stay warm"

Very much so! He set it up like this so we would not have to get on the roof during the winter. Snow and ice plus a metal roof is not a good combo lol. You stay warm as well, and have a great week!

Omg Lynn, 🤣 see what did I say about going on that darn porch lmbo. You gonna end up on the Alaska news channel! Great video though. I really enjoyed it. Boy those stoves are a lot of work. I like your new firewood holder. Definitely will hold more wood so that you can stay off that darn porch 😂. Take care friends. Heyyy Yeti man, you be safe on the road.

Thanks! Hey now, that could be great publicity! We are just going to clean it once a month, just to be cautious. I'm currently keeping track of how many days of firewood this thing holds lol.

Your light-colored Shepard reminds me of a dog I had years ago. His name was Sundance and if you called him from a 1/2 mile away he would come a running. He got shot for killing chickens before I got him and almost died.

If you burn an aluminum can once a week you wont have creosote the aluminum makes it so it dont build up. so no chimney cleaning. hope this helps

Thanks for the info, but we don't burn anything but wood. I don't want to damage the catalyst in the stove. With the re-burn system, it cuts the wood consumption between 1/3 to 1/2 of wood needed. :-)
Now we are getting somewhere….
