Your place looks like mine right now. Here in Santa Fe, NM we received 27” of snow yesterday. The leaves were still on the trees so I’ve been out shaking the snow off the trees so they don’t break. I feel like I’m in Alaska, but I don’t have a snow blower. Me and my husband have been shoveling, and now we’re both so sore. Beautiful though.
@SeanInAlaskaАй бұрын
I saw that your area was getting massive snow! Never overdo it! I take many breaks while clearing snow.

Get er done and hunker down… Old man winter is upon you. We’ve had the high winds and rain, more rain and still more to come over the next 10 days straight (To be expected in our rainforest area of the South Western Coast, BC). At which point, your snow is looking cold but enticing. I was gonna laugh, but I’m not kidding. Good job on the chicken wiring, now let the winds blow!

Alaska is my favorite state ❤️ besides my own home state of NY. So I had to subscribe to your channel. Beautiful chickens. I love me some snow Haven't had any come upon us yet here in New York but we will soon. Can't wait to see the cabin when it's done.

Tack some plastic wrap under that to hold it from falling down
@AlexB-km7osАй бұрын
If you put plastic wrap on outer side of insulation in cold climate, your condensation point will be before moisture barrier and moisture will not dry out. You want let insulation breath in cold climate, means need to use some other types of insulation stabilizers, breathable in first place.
@CarolAnne-h7vАй бұрын
Yeh, tend to your chickens man and I hooks their warm enough, I also know how most people in Alaska keep there chickens warm!

Here in the Arab Gulf countries, the summer season starts from June to September, and the lowest temperature in summer is 104 F, the average is 113 F, and the highest is 122 F. Today, November 14, 2024, at 2:30 PM, the temperature is 92 F. We consume a lot of electricity for air conditioners, but Thank God we are a country that produces fuel, so the prices are reasonable. By the way, in the winter season we have bitter cold without snow, and even foreigners from countries where it snows cannot stand the cold here.

Why would you not have strapped underneath so that the insulation could not have fallen at all
@SeanInAlaskaАй бұрын
Because i am a complete rookie and did not plan ahead...lol...and that is my honest answer.
@AlexB-km7osАй бұрын
It's a hidden plan. If you'll do everything right in one swing - you'll not get an ideas for future videos. I think we might grumble a bit, but enjoy content from Sean.

if you put lighting in with your chickens it should stop the Molting.
