Alaska Cabin Adventures

Күн бұрын

It's -10°F and we're goin' fishin! We take our snow machines (snowmobiles) to a secret, unnamed lake near our off-grid cabin in search of Alaskan rainbow trout. It's a day full of beauty, nature and adventure but things go wrong when the snow machine breaks down and leaves us stranded miles from the cabin.

It's great exploring and finding new lakes that aren't know by the public, they usually produce decent fish. The 'ol Skidoo sounded like it was freezing up, some water in the fuel, that's the reason it would only idle. Scary situation in subzero temps without help, great that you were together.

I live in the area of Buffalo NY. I have never seen someone not wearing a helmet snowmobiling probably because it's the law. I just can't fathom not wearing one especially with the cold but mostly because of the terrain(going thru woods with branches slapping in your face) and these machines nowadays can go over 70mph. Trying not to be the helmet police but comman sense is gone in this society
