My most expensive tent- WORTH IT? Honest review of a Lotus Belle tent

***Buyer beware: This is the WORST company I've ever dealt with for shipping and communication, including orders placed with no notification of shipping until prodded, then shipping initiated, misleading stock, excuses after excuses about their warehouse, etc. (For a $3,000 tent!!!!) Here's a few examples: my original order for my tent took weeks to get and I had to initiate the conversation about shipping. Next, I ordered a liner (after being backordered for several months, put on the notification list for stock, then notified to order, PAID... no shipping or communication for 2 MONTHS, to me sending an email only to be suddenly refunded with no explanation). Most recently I needed a new center pole, sent an email- do you have this? Yes. I go to the website: out of stock til spring. (I made my own pole.) I also needed ribs (said in stock, but NO- after a couple weeks AFTER I paid- radio silence- OUT OF STOCK TIL MARCH OR APRIL, (again it's the warehouse's fault) but "hey if you want it shipped now from Australia we can do that for another 40 bucks". Needless to say I would never recommend this company or it's products! Lovely..... and such a shame. If you can handle the BS this is your tent. I would recommend looking eleswhere! Check out walltentshop.com for amazing customer service and get yourself a WALL TENT! You will love it! Tell them I sent ya! :)

Brooke, you’ve spent the better part of your life reusing, repurposing and recycling product. You deserve to spend some money on a quality product that you obviously will thoroughly enjoy. I’m impressed that, as usual, you built the foundation and installed the tent and stove all by yourself. You saved a ton of money right there! 😅

I absolutely love that lotus tent!! ❤ Just a safety suggestion for you Brooke, Maybe put some tennis balls on the end of the rebar stakes or something that the rebar won't poke through. I wouldn't want to fall on one of those if I ever tripped.

It is a beautiful tent. I love the overall shape of it. It would be the talk of any Ladie's Weekend Camp. The only issue for me: are the poly skylights. Those would not last long in Texas: the extremely high UV and IR and triple digits temps would destroy them. Good thing you live 1500 miles north! As long as you keep that in the forrest away from the direct sun, that should address my only concern. Yeah, canvas has jumped in price since the lockdowns. I just spent $2100 on a 10 x 12 for the local history events. I ordered one of the last tents that Panther Primitive will be making. The 16 foot square tent is just too big for me, considering it had a 14 foot tall roof! I'm not worried; I'll be able to sell it and cover the price of the new tent pretty easy. Lots of hunting lease owners, cowboy chuckwagon cooks, and Boy Scouts always looked the tent over when I set up at the local forts. Thanks for sharing that with us. It is a gorgeous tent, and will be so easy to decorate into very comfortable and peaceful space.

Any type of camping is good for me. Whether in the back of the Honda or the back of the pickup. We're elderly. One thing we love to do is make dinner portable and go up to the reservoir near us and watch the moon rise.

Very nice setup. That is going to be an awesome place to hang out. I would love to camp in that tent but my favorite way to camp is in the tent in the back of my truck. I really enjoy staying in that tent. Up off the ground in the bed of my pickup is a plus. My wife loves it because the bugs aren’t crawling on it in the morning.

Brooke you made an excellent choice, but we all know you have good taste. The sky lites are really the ticket. Free heat in the winter & light too. Youre right about the space between the tent & rainfly, its a buffer between the two. It looks like the mother ship landed but all that space is not going to waste. Gorgeous tent and worth every penny! You work so hard that you shouldn’t even think twice about what it cost. The ability to watch the stars and the snow come down thru the trees would have sold me. Dual doorways and a place for a stove is nice too. Enjoy!

Love the tent! Gorgeous. It is difficult to comment on the price as I have no frame of reference but it offers a huge space with skylights so that's worth something. The base and outer rain fly will preserve the tent which is brilliant. Lovely.

I like tents that are different . When I was kid , our family spent a lot of time camping in Europe during the 60s. I fell in love with the huge cabin like tents with huge huge windows. A few years ago I imported a tent from a tent from Europe , same style , and I love it !

Brook, I am totally in love with this channel. And Dave's channel, and Michigan, and Alaska, and all the things that you two do. Love the tent, I personally have a 5 meter Bell Tent and love to go glamping in it. It is just under 90 pounds, so it is definitely a "Kick it out the back hatch" type tent. I am in Minnesota, so for me, spending 2 weeks on the North Shore of Lake Superior is a perfect way to "Rough It"

Love the Cabela's igloo type tent with a foyer. It is old, well used and keeps us toasty when it is cold. This one looks fantastic, will need to add it to my wish list.

I'm only half way through this video (I did watch the other one where you actually set up) and I just had to pause it to say; I love how you set your walk in tents and small cabins!! Your style is generally, very elegant yet simple and I am sooo very impressed with that idea. It's one thing to do something like this in a small home or apartment but "You" take it to the "Tent"! Impressive to say the least! Now, this one, is not only elegant on the outside but then as soon as you hit the entrance it just takes your breath away.
