The business Costco in Anchorage is supposed to have more snacks than the regular Costcos. I haven’t been yet. Your summer this year reminds me of the summer in Anchorage in 2018. We had record heat and wildfires. We couldn’t open our windows to cool off because of the smoke. I hope you get some rain soon.

You have a husband and four kids to feed. I would suggest moving to South Carolina, however, since the end of June we've been in the upper 90s and into 100s with heat indexes of 109 to 110. No smoke, but heat and humidity.

Alaska Costco has way more products than ours does in TN. There are things in yours I've never seen in ours! I will be in Fairbanks at the end of the month. I hope the fires will have died down. But I'd like it to stay warm, although we are broiling right now!!

My daughter loved Pilot Bread, especially with caribou meat and cheese. Took them in their lunches all the time. Both kids also lived moose jerkey. I'd love to have some moose flank steak to make some. Yummm.

I've shopped at both Costco, and Sams. Sams seems to have more variety of snack foods. We can never leave either store with a bill of $100 or less. I've learned shop when my husband is working because he'll buy all kinds of junk food. If I wanted to spend less than $300, don't bring hubby...LOL!

We actually went through this last summer here in southern Ohio with the wild fires in Canada. It was pretty thick and bad on and off for a few weeks. I am 55 and never remember anything like that happening in my life! I feel for you all as we had several days of air quality alerts and it was not fun! Prayers they get under control!

OMG the smoke can get really bad here in California to thankfully hasn’t been super bad but there been years Where I just wear my N 95 mask pretty much all summer round and the sky is naturally orange and you just gotta get used to it.

Noooo, you missed out on the pilot bread. It is salted, just not the tops. We make pizza with them, kinda like bagel bites. Anything you can do with bread you can do with pilot crackers. If you heat them up they are not as "crumby". And yes they painted Costco, we have been watching them for a couple of weeks now. Good to see you two on a Costco date again 🤣🤣

I hope not 🙏 I hear those pretzels are delicious but haven't tried them yet. Now those peanut butter filled pretzels are one of my favorites. Do not like admitting it but I live in Oregon far away from Portland the very northwest corner on the Columbia River where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean anyhow we get tons and tons and tons of cloud cover and rain and it is very hard for me I'm somebody that needs light and outside and to be active in physical or it's mentally tough on me in May I was in Alaska and I have some brothers up there in Wasilla and Palmer I always thought what my son turns 18 in 4 years I would move to Alaska but I couldn't do it just because I like to sleep when it gets dark I go to bed when it gets late I wake up and I'm sure I could get used to it but I couldn't do the dark Winters and it is beautiful and when the sun came out one day it was just God's Beauty shined and it is just a masterpiece that he created but After experiencing it I could not do Alaska because even though I have family there and it is beautiful I think I'm mentally and emotionally and physically it would be a challenge I give alaskans a whole heap load of credit I didn't understand until I went and spent time there that yes it is difficult and I wasn't even there during winter and by no means am I am I seeing this so negative view it's just you have to be tough to live up there with family and being raced there I could see would be hard to get away sometimes so your family is such an active family and you seem to thrive with Adventure yourself your husband and your kids just glow when you're outside having fun whether it's a campfire there at your house or out with family or your boating or camping or even shopping and so being locked away in the house with dark Winters house to be hard it just has to be you just such an incredibly good job though of providing a beautiful life for those kids each and every one of them just seem to have a lot of fun
